THANK YOU LORD JESUS!
Thank you Lord for the big Cross that hangs on my wall!
It's a great reminder of your love where you died for us all!
Thank you for the clothes in my closet and all my other possessions as well!
Thank you for saving me from going to an eternal hell.
Thank you for my many relatives that I hold dear!
Thank you for the promises in your Word that fill me with good cheer!
Thank you for my retirement and financial blessings that I receive every thirty days!
Than you for being my Light in the darkness to guide my way!
Thank you for letting me feel your mighty presence from time to time!
Like those times when I begin to weep as I write these rhymes!
Thank you for using an old unworthy vessel like me!
Thank you for your patience and your long-suffering when I fail thee!
I wished I was perfect for you Lord, because you deserve my "very" best!
I wished I didn't have to battle with that old sin nature that hides within my chest!
Lord, like Paul said, "When I would do good, evil is present with me!"
Lord, I hate those unholy tendencies that stem from the fallen nature within me!
"My flesh is like a great ball and chain that hinders and vexes my soul!"
But, that ball and chain will be "gone" when I reach Heaven and those streets of gold!
Thank you for your grace that washes all my sin away!
Each time I pray, "Please forgive me God for messing up, and letting you down again today!"
