ARE YOU A BLESSING OR A CURSE?
by Lewis E. Thomas

ARE YOU A BLESSING OR A CURSE?

Are you a blessing to everyone who knows you in your circle of family and friends?
Or are you a curse that inflicts pain and suffering on them with your ungodly sins?

If they see you coming up the driveway do they shut off their TV and pretend to not be home?
Do they act that way because of the many times you have done them or others wrong?

Jesus taught that we Christians should be a blessing to our enemies and to our friends!
Anything less than that, Jesus would call it sin!

We can "choose" to bless others, that hate us to the core!
When we do that, we are doing something that God adores!

Anyone can be a blessing to someone who blesses them back!
It takes a true Christian to bless someone who curses them and that is a fact!

If someone is a curse to you and causing you suffering and pain...
Get down on your knees in prayer and call out their name!

Ask God to bless them with salvation and a new heart in Christ!
Pray for them once a day and then pray for them twice!

Are you a blessing or a curse to others today?
Are you walking that Straight and Narrow
way?

Do you curse others with your grudges that you've held against them for years?
Do you enjoy dishing out payback and causing them to cry many tears?

Are you holding grudges against someone who offended you in the past?
Since you have "never" offended anyone yourself, how long should their punishment last?

If you are a grudge holder obviously, you don't have a biblical clue!
God has a place called Hell prepared for unforgiving folks like you!

Go ahead and cling to your unforgiveness with all of your heart and soul!
But, unforgiveness will "ensure" that you never take "one step" onto Heaven's streets of gold!

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
