MY BIGGEST ENEMY!

My biggest enemy is not someone who cursed me out and slapped me in the face!
"I am the biggest enemy that I daily face!"
I don't have the time to focus on what "others" are doing wrong!
Because, "I still have too many faults of my own!"
When I would do good, sometimes instead, I find myself doing wrong!
Lord, Please help me, and make me holy and spiritually strong!
This old sin nature "within me" is like a ball and chain!
Lord, Forgive me when I yield to my flesh and cause you to hang your head in shame!
Lord, You own my heart and you own my soul!
"And to please you 24/7 is my daily goal!"
My heart and my mind will forever belong to you!
But, my flesh "fights my spirit" as I try to serve and obey you!
Things that I do not want to do because your word says it is wrong!
I find myself doing it "anyway" in my battle between good and evil and right vs wrong!
Lord, could you send me down a "BIG SPIRITUAL STICK" made of pure "GRACE"?
So, I can take it and hit my old sin nature right square in the face!
"I would like to knock my old sin nature down, and keep him trampled beneath my feet!"
Then I could walk in Spiritual Victory! Now that, would be ever so sweet!
Lord, I know my request may sound like a strange and violent thing!
But according to Matthew 11:12, I know that "you know" exactly what I mean!
