Because I'm a daughter of the King of Kings

I'm Covered

I've chosen to learn from Him

Seeking the wonders of what His Word can bring

The signs He has given about His return for me

I must remember I'm a child of the King

I'm Covered

He says He will come as a thief in the night

Many will see signs of safety and peace

Seen by the glow of a deceiving light

Suddenly destruction will be birthed

Agony and pain on the evil and cursed

No place to hide

I'm Covered

My King's Day is coming

He has left me signs

I'm His and He is mine

His Day won't overtake me as a thief

I've studied His Word

I know what I believe

He says I'm a daughter of light and day

I'm Covered

I must not drop into a spiritual sleep

Staying alert to the groans of a world in pain

Since I'm of the day and not of the night

I wear my breastplate of Love and Faith

So I can care for those who are overcome by the fight

I'm Covered

My helmet is Hope

I've salvation from His judgement Day

I'll be kept from the wrath that's on its way

I encourage you, my brothers and sisters in Christ

The violent anger of my King

Is on those who hate His light

I'm a daughter of the King of Kings

I'm His and He is mine

He is my Day against evil's night

He is my Cover
