Christmas is a comin’ and we are a goin.’
We'll be going shopping and on drives to see Christmas lights and decorations. Moms and Dads will take their children to live Nativity enactments. In reverence, families will go to candlelight church worship services. Congregations will flock to their churches to hear the adult choir’s Christmas cantatas and children’s programs.
People are on the go.
‘Go, Tell it on the Mountain’ [Anonymous/Unknown/Published 1907/Public Domain]
Go, tell it on the mountain,
Over the hills and everywhere; Go, tell it on the mountain, That Jesus Christ is born.
While shepherds kept their watching O’er silent flocks by night, Behold, throughout the heavens There shone a holy light.
The shepherds feared and trembled, When lo! above the earth Rang out the angel chorus That hailed the Savior’s birth.
Down in a lowly manger The humble Christ was born, And God sent us salvation That blessed Christmas morn.
