I AM and I
by Linda Jackson Before the end of evil The breaking of seven seals The scroll in the hand of God Having much to reveal An angel of strength announcing loudly Calling for one not strong, but who is worthy A heart of excellence needed to break the seals No one in heaven is revealed John weeps, no one able to open and read Stop crying he is told For a Lamb has stepped forth, humbly bold A heart of a Lion, rooted in love He reached out, took the book from God above The Lamb, the Lion, and God hand in hand A book, seven seals and the future of evil man
Prayers have gone up for hundreds of years Amen, Come Lord Jesus Pleasant to His ears Precious words spoken, held in golden bowls Sweet smelling cries, harps playing, joyful tears Melodies sacred and bold A new song of truth and power The fulfilling of stories old
John, so long ago the Lord showed you much Sights and sounds yet to come As you sat in prison writing each word Thousands of years later I would read what you heard I noticed there where places I would play a part Looking to the cross is where my journey would start Lord, my accepting Your life giving blood Opened my heart to the Truth of Love Not for myself, but for You first John knew that You loved him Even when he hungered and thirst His love for You grew You opened heaven Revealing what man would go through John are you looking from above? Seeing as I see the breaking of seals has begun Hearing the prayers going up, filling golden bowls Overflowing, dripping on the brokeness below
The Lamb and the Lion, scroll in hand John and I with millions, a part of the plan All one in the Great I AM LJ/18
