'Can you keep a secret?'
'Where did you hear that?'
‘A little birdie told me!’
As a young girl, I’d whisper secrets to friends. It takes a lot of self-control to keep a secret. Secrets spread like wildfires in a Santa ana windstorm.
‘I know something you don't know!’
The secret comes out…
'Who told you that?’
A news reporter never reveals their sources.
‘A little birdie told me!’
Did you know that's backed up by Scripture?
Birds tell tales.
“Furthermore, in your bedchamber do not curse a king, and in your sleeping rooms do not curse a rich man, for a bird of the heavens will carry the sound and the winged creature will make the matter known (Ecclesiastes 10:20 NASB).”
The secret comes out.
“But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. Accordingly, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in the inner rooms will be proclaimed upon the housetops (Luke 12:2-3 NASB).”
