Many people find themselves in careers that require continuing education training. Individuals must study and pass exams in order to meet state accreditation rules.
As mature Christians, we need to renew our minds and refresh our memories.
“But as for you, continue in what you have learned and firmly believed. You know those who taught you, and you know that from childhood you have known the sacred Scriptures, which are able to give you wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:14-15 HCSB).”
Wisdom is more than knowledge. We don’t find godly wisdom through instinct, hunches or cramming at the library. God is the source of true wisdom. He has hidden His words of wisdom in His word, the Bible. I can never read it too often or study its truth too much. It’s an ongoing learning process.
“I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6 HCSB).”
I will complete the life course with faith in God, strength of Christ and empowering of the Holy Spirit.
“Hold on to instruction; don’t let go. Guard it, for it is your life (Proverbs 4:13 HCSB).”
