I was listening to some great old Jimmy Swaggart classic crusades of the past!
Sermons that "never grow old" and that remain unsurpassed!
He spoke of the Christian and the hard times we face during this life on earth!
And how we can face every STORM if we are anchored to the one born of a virgin birth!
He preached that no matter what we are going through, to praise God with head held high!
Even if we are terminally ill and soon to die!
As I listened to his words I knew they were so very true!
Oh Lord, put your praise on my lips no matter what I'm going through!
Put songs of praise in my mouth and on my tongue 24/7!
Let my heart be "focused" on my eternal destination ahead which is Heaven!
If I die "today" suddenly with no warning at all!
I know you'll be there to take me to Heaven after my fall!
Jimmy preached, "Hold your head high "every" day because you are a "CHILD OF GOD"!
NO MATTER HOW HARD THE TRIAL ON THAT PATH YOU TROD!
GREAT WILL BE YOUR REWARD IN HEAVEN UP ABOVE!
WHERE ALL YOUR SUFFERINGS WILL BE SWALLOWED UP IN HIS GREAT LOVE!
Jimmy preached, "SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO PRAISE GOD THROUGH OUR TEARS"!
But "PRAISE" will "remove all" of our carnal fears!
Jimmy preached, "When we fall, to get up and go for God again!"
Don't lie there "defeated" by a fall you took because of sin!
Jimmy preached when we fall, "FALL FORWARD, NOT BACKWARDS to become corrupt!
"Cry out to Jesus immediately and Jesus will lift you up!"
When we wake up every morning and get up to begin our day!
We should warn Satan!
"IM A CHILD OF GOD AND YOU HAD BETTER GET OUT OF MY WAY!"
