My love is in my blood,

it's real, notwithstanding the constraint,

the longing in my heart is impossible to quench;

it cannot grow weary or faint.

My love is like a mighty river,

unstoppable throughout the years,

hence, I rely not on sorrow,

but a sibling love raging against my tears.

My love is unbreakable,

notwithstanding the rejection

beyond space and time,

Jesus calls me to be His sibling

and my heart sings out in rhyme.

My love is in my blood;

I was born to love you this way;

it stays and is not weary,

                  with me tomorrow,

                              never to fade away.
