Your Prince has come.
“And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6b NASB).”
Young girls dream of finding their prince; they hope to live happily forever after. Happiness is fleeting; lasting peace outside of God’s grace is impossible. Humanity needs the Prince of Peace. Have you received Him?
Apostle Peter knew Him intimately. He wanted others to know Him too, to receive Jesus as the Prince of 'life.'
“The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus, the one whom you delivered and disowned in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release Him. But you disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, but put to death the Prince of life, the one whom God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are witnesses (Acts 3:13-15 NASB).”
Witnesses?
Yes, there were witnesses and far more than most realize.
In the words of Apostle Paul, “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles; and last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared to me also (1 Corinthians 15:1-8 NASB).”
It’s no dream; according to the Scriptures, your Prince has come!
