Is it a match made in heaven?
When love enters, a person wonders if they’ve found their future marriage partner. As time passes, and love deepens, they seek assurances of a lasting commitment. Many leave out the key element; they fail to seek God's guidance.
Is His hand in the relationship?
Is this the person that the LORD has prepared as their mate?
Does the relationship have His blessing?
God knew precisely what Adam needed and ‘who’ she would be.
It was a match made in heaven (and carried out in a garden).
“Then the Lord God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him (Genesis 2:18 NASB).”
God not only knows what is good for us; He knows what’s best.
“The Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. The man said,
‘This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.’
For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh (Genesis 2:22-24 NASB).”
God was instrumental in their relationship; He made it happen.
God brought the woman (Eve) to the man (Adam).
The LORD still brings men and women together.
It’s worth the wait.
