Where is Jesus; where is He?
Is He in Bethlehem or Jerusalem?
“Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying, ‘Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him (Matthew 2:1-2 NASB).”
Where is He? Is Jesus in the Father's house?
“Son, why have You treated us this way? Behold, Your father and I have been anxiously looking for You.’ And He said to them, ‘Why is it that you were looking for Me? Did you not know that I had to be in My Father’s house (Luke 2:48b-49 NASB).”
Where is Jesus? Is He in the wilderness?
“Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil (Matthew 4:1 NKJV)?”
Where is He? Is Jesus in Gethsemane?
“Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to His disciples, ‘Sit here while I go over there and pray. And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be grieved and distressed. Then He said to them, ‘My soul is deeply grieved, to the point of death; remain here and keep watch with Me (Matthew 26:36-38 NASB).”
Jesus died at Calvary; He was buried in a garden.
Is He still in the tomb?
“He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying (Matthew 28:6 NASB).”
Where is Jesus; 'where is He?'
“Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us (Romans 8:34b NASB).”
