Thank you Lord for this new day as I awake after a good night's sleep!
I will rejoice and be glad in it! Because every day you give me is a "gift" so sweet!
Than you for that cruel and bloody Cross where you died for my sins!
Thank you for being my dearest and my closest friend!
Thank you for my relatives, my friends, and my good neighbors!
Thank you for your many blessings and many unseen favors!
Thank you for my home, my property, and all of my material possessions!
Thank you for forgiving me everytime I ask in repentance and make my confessions!
Thank you for staying close by my side through "every" dark Storm in my life!
Thank you for my most precious and my most faithful little wife!
"Thank you for the good times and the bad!"
Thank you for "holding me close" during those times when my heart was broken and sad!
Thank you for saving a poor, lost "wretch" like me from sin!
Thank you for leading me to your Cross where I became "BORN AGAIN"!
Lord, I'm running out of space and "THANK YOU" room in this "short" little rhyme!
So Lord, let me continue writing my "THANK YOU's" in Heaven one day, where I'll "never" have to "end" this "Thank You" rhyme!
