LAYING UP TREASURES IN HEAVEN

Are you laying up treasures in that Heavenly Kingdom above?
Are you daily seeking ways to perform acts of kindness and love?
By that I mean reaching out to others, even strangers who are in dire need!
To do so you must "think of others" first and set aside "all" selfish greed!
Treasures in Heaven that you accumulate when you pray for and minister to lost souls!
Treasures in Heaven that are worth more than all the world's diamonds, silver, and gold!
Are you laying up treasures in Heaven on that path you trod?
Treasures received when you perform good deeds and good works that bring glory to God!
Are you laying up treasures by telling sinners about Jesus and the precious virgin birth?
Or are all "your" treasures "carnal" and down here on the earth?
Do you have an account in "Heaven" received by everyone who has been "BORN AGAIN"?
Or are all of "your" TREASURES "down here below" in this "LAND OF SIN"?
You "may" have a "Treasure Account" in Heaven, but what if God looked therein today!
I wonder just what God would have to say?
Would your "TREASURE CHEST" be overflowing, swelling, and about to bust!
Or would it be empty, covered with cobwebs, and a "heavy" layer of dust?
Are you like the slothful Servant who buried his talent in the ground?
Is your walk with God "spiritually" Strong and "morally" Sound?
