SERVANT OF GOD

I met him years ago while I worked at Florida State!
Our meeting each other was "ordered" I believe by God, and not a random act of fate!
He did plumbing work for the University out of a white and green van!
And I soon discovered he was more than just an ordinary man!
He told me and my co-worker stories about things that happened to his family in the past!
Stories about devine healing and miracles that had come to pass!
As he told his stories tears would run down his face!
He was a man of God, full of the Holy Spirit who had been saved by God's Amazing Grace!
He told us stories of his saintly mother and his godly Father whom he greatly revered!
And as he told us those stories, our eyes filled quickly with tears!
He spoke of his infant son whom doctors diagnosed "would not" live very long!
And how God told his former Pastor who was driving down Interstate 75, to detour and go immediately to a certain home!
His mother was at her home with his infant son who was asleep nearby!
The Pastor knocked on the door and when his mother opened it, the pastor said; "God told me to come here, but I don't know why!"
His mom pointed over at his sleeping and seriously ill infant son!
She said: "Pastor that little boy right there is the reason God told you to come!
The Pastor took the little boy up into his arms and prayed to God up above!
They both prayed for God to heal that little bundle of love!
Their prayers were "heard in Heaven" by The Father and The Son!
And today my friend's son Benjamin is now 31!
My friend's walk with God has made a great "influence" and "impression" on many folks, including me!
And today my friend "loves" to tell total strangers how Jesus Christ saved him and set him free!
Servant of God...
