WHISPERS ON THE WIND
by Lewis E. Thomas WHISPERS ON THE WIND! One night a small boy wandered away from his Camp as his parents were sleeping sound!
And when the morning came the little boy was missing and nowhere to be found!
They searched far and they searched wide for the missing child!
He was hopelessly lost somewhere out there "alone" in the "WILD"!
Lets look at things through the eyes of the little boy who wandered away!
As he shivered in the cold night air waiting for the light of day!
The boy heard a soft voice "whispering" to him on the cold wind!
It said, "Lie down and get very still now and I will send you some of my friends!"
The little lad obeyed and laid down curling up into a fetal position from the cold wind to hide...
And a family of raccoons wandered out of the forest and "snuggled up all around him" on every side!
The raccoons kept the little man warm all through that cold frigid night!
And their "presence" kept him from being overcome with great fear and fright!
When the sun came up the "WHISPERS" to the boy started up once again!
God whispered, "Just follow my words as they "lead you" on the morning wind!"
The little boy obeyed, following one whisper, after another fearlessly and unafraid!
And he walked right out of that "wilderness" and into his "FATHER'S" arms and was divinely saved!
How often has God whispered to souls hopelessly lost in the Wilderness of Sin...
Only to have His voice "ignored" Time and Time again?
WHISPERS ON THE WIND!...
