Insomnia is a strange sounding word; it’s also a disturbing reality to multitudes of sufferers.
Sleep is so inviting; yet, they cannot accept the invitation. A good night’s sleep eludes them as clock watching becomes a vigil until dawn's early light.
With hopeful hearts they decide to try again at the close of the day. God will give all the gift of a clean slate each morning.
The mistakes and disappointments of yesterday are placed behind us; new opportunities await our discovery. Give thanks and praise to the Creator. He gives both nights of darkness and dawns of light.
Morning dawns!
“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; Though its waters roar and foam, Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, The holy dwelling places of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns (Psalm 46:1-5 NASB).”
Oh glorious dawn, a day with no more insomnia. The LORD will put an end to darkness, sickness, tears and death.
