FILL ME LORD!
by Lewis E. Thomas FILL ME LORD! Fill me Lord with a great hunger for more of you!
Fill me with gratitude for all that you do!
Fill me with the Holy Ghost and Fire!
Let getting "closer" to you be my "main desire"!
Fill me with compassion for the homeless and the down and out!
Fill me with Devine Joy and a Victory Shout!
Fill me Lord with wisdom and make me wise!
Make me more "like Jesus" the Crucified!
Fill me with tears so that I may weep for the families where your name is used to curse and swear!
Move me to pray that one day those families will kneel together in prayer!
Fill me with tears for the aborted children that never get to see the light of day!
Lord, fill me with a billion reasons to daily pray!
Fill me with the "same love" that Jesus showed to the whole world!
And let me give it out to every man, woman, boy, and girl!
Fill me with a burning desire to draw ever, ever, closer to you!
Lord, "melt me down" and mold me into a vessel "BRAND NEW"!
Fill me Lord "each morning" and come tomorrow, fill me "again"!
Fill my heart with a heavy burden for "every soul" out there that is "lost" in Sin!
Fill me up Lord until I become like unto an artesian well.
Fill me Lord, so that I might help rescue "some" who are on that Road to Hell.
Fill me Lord...
