FAIRY TALE?
by Lewis E. Thomas FAIRY TALE? "Fairy Tale" : a children's story about magical and imaginary beings and lands.
Thats what "unwise men" call the "Story" about Adam and Eve and Gods creation of man!
They say: " That whole thing about Jesus being the Son of God is just a "BIG LIE"!
As they curse and sware and shake their fists at the sky!
If the Holy Bible is a "fairy tale," it has captured my heart and my soul...
With its story about the CROSS of CHRIST and that Great City with "STREETS OF GOLD"!
I cherish the tale about Jesus the mighty KING of kings, who left His throne in Heaven above!
To come down, to die "for me" on that Old Rugged Cross to show me His love!
I cherish the tale about Jesus's resurrection on the third day!
And how they found his tomb "empty," and that great stone rolled away!
If the Holy Bible is a "fairy tale" please count me in!
Because it's the only book that tells me how to find forgiveness and how to be born again!
If the Holy Bible is a fairy tale it's a tale that changed my whole life!
It taught me how to love, respect, honor, and provide for my children and my wife!
If the Holy Bible is a "fairy tale" then let me live forever "within the borders" of its pages!
It has taught me to love all people, regardless of their color, race, social status or their ages!
The Holy Bible is the "ANCHOR" that holds me securely through life's storms and gales!
The words within it keep the winds of the Holy Spirit powering up my sails!
The Holy Bible is the "WORD of GOD" and every "unbeliever" will be judged by "every" word written therein!
How about you today, are you a born again Christian, or just another unbelieving skeptic who is wrapped up in the chains of sin?
