Three days…
“Jesus answered, ‘Destroy this sanctuary, and I will raise it up in three days.’
Therefore the Jews said, ‘This sanctuary took 46 years to build, and will You raise it up in three days?’
But He was speaking about the sanctuary of His body. So when He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this. And they believed the Scripture and the statement Jesus had made (John 2:19-22 HCSB).”
I believe.
“As they were eating, He took bread, blessed and broke it, gave it to them, and said, ‘Take it; this is My body.’
Then He took a cup, and after giving thanks, He gave it to them, and so they all drank from it. He said to them, ‘This is My blood that establishes the covenant; it is shed for many. I assure you: I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it in a new way in the kingdom of God (Mark 14:22-25 HCSB).”
His body, His kingdom…
“Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10 HCSB).”
Three days…
“For as Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights (Matthew 12:40 HCSB).”
