It was New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2019.
Many made resolutions; they had hopes of happiness for the year ahead.
People made big plans.
Coronavirus, what’s that?
“Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit’; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, ‘If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that (James 4:13-15 NKJV).”
The Lord is still in control. The Coronavirus did not take Him by surprise.
Our circumstances have changed.
Trying times do not surprise me.
Jesus prepared His disciples; His followers.
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world (John 16: 33 NKJV).”
Yes, the world is battling COVID-19. God created the world; He hears man's cries for victory over sickness and death.
LORD, increase my faith.
“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away (Revelation 21:4 NKJV).”
