My wife and I drove to our local Church to drop off our tithes today.

We asked our co-pastor if we could pray for a few minutes in the sanctuary before we departed and drove away!

 

The Church Sanctuary was empty and the lighting was turned down low.

And as I prayed I thought about how we always "REAP WHAT WE SOW"!

 

Churches across our nation and the world are off limits now because of the Covid-19 bug!

We are unable to worship God together and unable to give out any handshakes or hugs!

 

As we entered the age of cell phones, iPads, and video games...

We began to abandon God and Church and to take His holy name in vain!

 

We allowed Sports Players and Hollywood Actors to capture our hearts and our souls!

We abandoned God and began to worship Celebrities and our TEAM PLAYERS who were seeking to win a Super Bowl!

 

It was "GOOD" to be "inside" our Home Church once again!

But I "miss" those Sunday sermons about the Cross and all that God and Jesus did to save this old WORLD from Sin!

 

OH LORD;  "PLEASE" fix things down here on this earth below!

I don't know how much farther down this ole "LOCK DOWN" road I can go!

 

If I could never worship you in "YOUR HOUSE" ever again!

Then please send an Angel down "right now" to take me up to that "KINGDOM WITH NO SIN"!

 

Take me up and away from this place where evil surrounds me on all sides!

Take me up and away from this world of greed, lust, and carnal pride!

 

I feel vexed like old "LOT" as I watch evil grow daily, spreading it's tentacles around the globe!

Oh, How I "long" to "leave this world" and to walk with you LORD, on those "STREETS OF GOLD"!
