Shame on them; they didn’t believe!
“She went and reported to those who had been with Him, as they were mourning and weeping. Yet, when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe it. Then after this, He appeared in a different form to two of them walking on their way into the country. And they went and reported it to the rest, who did not believe them either.
Later, He appeared to the Eleven themselves as they were reclining at the table. He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who saw Him after He had been resurrected (Mark 16:10-14 HCSB).”
Believe…
He intercedes for us.
“I am not praying that You take them out of the world but that You protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. I sanctify Myself for them, so they also may be sanctified by the truth.
I pray not only for these, but also for those who believe in Me through their message (John 17:15-20 HCSB).”
I believe.
“One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation (Romans 10:10 HCSB).”
