The Liberty Bell was cracked; yet, not destroyed.
To this day, it symbolizes freedom.
There is an inscription written on the bell. Taken from a portion of Leviticus 25:10, King James Bible Version, it reads as follows…
"Proclaim Liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof.”
Liberty, through loyalty; brokenness and submission…
“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise (Psalms 51:17 NKJV).”
We find never ending freedom through submission to Christ.
The LORD does not coerce; He calls.
The broken, the poor in spirit…
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:3 NKJV).”
I am blessed.
I am free.
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage (Galatians 5:1 NKJV).”
