by Lewis E. Thomas THE RACE TO ETERNITY Did you know that we all are in a "RACE" that "everyone" participates in?
Which way are "you" running, and are you running while "carrying" the weight of Sin?
Is the weight of your sin causing you to fall back further and further behind?
Do you know which "WAY" you are running or are you just running spiritually blind?
Are you running straight and true down that "STRAIGHT AND NARROW WAY"?
Or are you veering off course to indulge in a little sin along the way?
Stop and take a good look around you and look at the tracks that you've left behind!
Do your tracks show you've been running "TOWARD GOD" or do you still get off course, and bogged down in Sin from time to time?
You may not even be "aware" of it, but your whole life is a "RACE"!
Are you running as a "CHILD of GOD" who has been quickened by "AMAZING GRACE"?
Or are you running as "SIN'S SLAVE" with "Heavy Spiritual Chains" wrapped around your Soul?
If so, do I need to tell you that you will "never" see Heaven and never receive a "CROWN OF GOLD?"
Which way are you running? Ponder that question long, hard, and well!
If you are not running to God then you are running towards the hot and fiery "GATES OF HELL"!
