SNATCHED AWAY!
by Lewis E. Thomas

SNATCHED AWAY!

The majority of folks think they will live a very long and full life!
They think they will get to grow old with their husband and/or wife!

The Bible says, "Boast not thyself of tomorrow, for thou knowest not what a day may bring!"
What will happen "tomorrow" is only known by the "MIGHTY KING of kings!

My life long friend Roger Wade went to work the other day and was driving a Dump Truck on another routine run.
He had no "IDEA" that he would soon be "SNATCHED AWAY" to stand before Jesus, God's Only Son!

He was behind the wheel of his vehicle cruising down the road just like you and I.
He had no "earthly clue" that he was about to die!

His right front tire blew out causing his big truck to "QUICKLY" veer off the hard road!
And it was full to the brim with sand and it was carrying a very "HEAVY LOAD"!

The BIG RIG overturned and pushed over a few pines and finally came to rest!
And before the dust settled my friend Roger Wade was in that Heavenly City with the "REDEEMED" and the "BLESSED"!

Roger was quickly embraced by the "LOVE OF HIS LIFE"!
He was reunited with "DONNA", his sweet loving wife!

Donna had gotten to those "STREETS OF GOLD" a little earlier than he and she had been keeping an eye on "HEAVEN''S MAIN GATE"!
And ROGER got there "RIGHT ON TIME" and not a second late!

Roger Wade was a "BORN AGAIN" saint of God washed in the precious blood of Jesus Christ the Son!
Roger had been well "PREPARED" to meet His GOD, and he had left "NOTHING" concerning his soul undone!

Tomorrow could be the "VERY DAY" when "you" are suddenly, "SNATCHED AWAY"!
I will close this rhyme with one little question:

"IS IT WELL WITH "YOUR" SOUL TODAY!"

"SNATCHED AWAY"...

After seeing photos of the Big Truck Roger died in I was moved to write this rhyme!
