Then God spoke all these words: ² I am the Lord your God, Who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.³ You shall have no other gods before or besides Me. ⁴ You shall not make yourself any graven image [to worship it] or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; ⁵ You shall not bow down yourself to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me, ⁶ But showing mercy and steadfast love to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments. -- Exodus 20:1-6

Someone once said, “We’re all worshipping somethin'". 

So how bout you?

Some people think that those who won’t kill a cow or a bug—because it might be a reincarnated relative—are insane.

Some people worship many 'gods' and add Jesus to their list. They have no problem worshiping Him as well, but He is God alone and does not tolerate split loyalties. No other supposed diety ever rose again, but Jesus did and He lives forever! 

Others believe that those who worship only one God cannot possibly have everything covered.

Some think that they have to worship many 'gods'—one for “everything,” such as the heart specialist from India who witnessed the miracle of a pastor, after tremendous heart problems and a statement from the doc that he could do no more, received a new heart. The heart specialist, not able to figure out why the miracle happened, finally said, “I serve over 200 gods. But your God has power!”

Our God is Yahweh, Elohim, the Creator and sustainer of Heaven and earth, and His Son Jesus Christ. They are worthy of all praise and honor and glory and worship and praise--and of our complete devotion!
