‘You could hear a pin drop.’
We live three miles from the nearest town. It’s peaceful. Often, I notice how quiet it is outside. Walking across the road to our mailbox; I’m impressed by how little noise I hear. Sometimes the stillness is broken by the sounds of birds nearby or farm equipment in the distance. To be honest, I haven’t heard the proverbial pin drop.
Trust me; God sees every knee that drops in submission.
“I have sworn by Myself, The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance (Isaiah 45:23 NASB).”
“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall give praise to God (Romans 14:11 NASB).”
Every knee will bow.
“For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11 NASB).”
The Father sees the sparrows fall.
“Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father (Matthew 10:29 NASB).”
Through Christ, we see strongholds fall!
“For though we live in the body, we do not wage war in an unspiritual way, since the weapons of our warfare are not worldly, but are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds. We demolish arguments and every high-minded thing that is raised up against the knowledge of God, taking every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 HCSB).”
