Weather forecasting is a science. Meteorologists are masters at their craft and I watch them daily.
What’s the forecast?
I’ve been asked that question.
That’s a good question; I should have given a good answer.
I’ve been involved in radio and television broadcasting for almost 49 years. As an announcer, I’ve read countless weather forecasts over the air. You’d think I’d be able to update anyone on the weather. Some have even referred to me as the weather lady. The truth is I read the forecasts but I often don’t retain what I’ve read.
What’s the forecast?
Are there signs of significant change?
“The Pharisees and Sadducees approached, and as a test, asked Him to show them a sign from heaven.
He answered them: ‘When evening comes you say, ‘It will be good weather because the sky is red.’ And in the morning, ‘Today will be stormy because the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to read the appearance of the sky, but you can’t read the signs of the times. An evil and adulterous generation demands a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.’ Then He left them and went away (Matthew 16:1-4 HCSB).”
What was the sign of Jonah?
“For as Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights (Matthew 12:40 HCSB).”
Jesus, the Son of Man was.
Then, He arose!
