There is ONE rapid and guaranteed way to lose all contact with God. It is called IDOLATRY.

Some will deny they commit idolatry, saying they merely ask dead people to intercede for them before God, usually kneeling and bowing.

Ask whom? Paul is dead, Peter is dead. The grave of Mary and Joseph was found in Israel. These dead people are asked (in prayer) to intercede for those now living? If you bow and pray to one, you pray to an idol.

Perhaps a billion people, claiming to be Christians, and billions of Hindus, Moslems, Shintoists, and countless others will seek intercession and help among the dead.

There is no other intercessor or mediator apart from Christ Jesus. What does God say?

FOR THERE IS ONE GOD, AND ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MEN, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS; 1 Tim 2: 5-6

Does the New Testament teach anywhere to come to FATHER GOD in the name of Paul, or Peter, or Mary?

NEVER.

Read the Bible, do not trust Priests – or any man.

In the Old Testament every blood sacrifice served as a prophecy to introduce their future intercessor, the Kinsman Redeemer, called Christ Jesus. Priests (Levites) were officiating these sacrifices, but they were not the intercessors. Their work was, actually, to help announce the coming Intercessor.

Historically the worst disaster within the relationship of Israel to God has been IDOLATRY. This is a very important point. Why do you suppose that today, a billion people are lied to about the SECOND of the TEN COMMANDMENTS? Look up Exo 20: 3-6.       

Why is your idolatry so important to devils?

BECAUSE JUST CHOOSING TO ADDRESS AN IDOL (anything other than our God) WILL SEPARATE MAN FROM FATHER GOD AND WILL PERMIT DEMONS TO ASSEMBLE BEHIND THE IDOL.

Idolatry is very important to Satan, because it creates a barrier between you and God. This is safety for demons, and helplessness for you.

That is why ALL the religions of Satan exhibit a PANTHEON of gods, goddesses and half-gods, all to be worshipped or petitioned, all the way from the time before Noah’s Flood to the present. These ancient pagans were SUN (Baal) worshippers. Even today you can see the sun disk behind the heads of their idols. 

There is a Christian program on TV, where they claim that “we do not judge people”. They are afraid. If there was a mile- deep hole in the ground, should they not forewarn their sheep? Compare how God forewarned Israel.

We approach the Father always in the name of Christ Jesus, the only Kindred Redeemer, who ALONE paid for our sin, and there is NO other Savior or Mediator (intercessor) for us before Father God.

Observe the SECOND OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. Maybe some should read the Bible instead of trusting their Priests.

Deut 5:8-9. (Second of the 10 Commandments)
Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness OF ANY THING that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:
9. THOU SHALT NOT BOW DOWN THYSELF UNTO THEM, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

What did God say? "Make no image of ANYTHING which is in heaven, on Earth or under the water". Why? "So you do NOT BOW DOWN YOURSELF unto them, nor serve them"

What did Satan demand of Jesus in Matthew 4:9-10?

1. And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
   10. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
   
   (Consider attitude of prayer: Fall on your knees, incline your head, raise your hands? What did Satan want from Jesus? Fall down and worship him! That constitutes worship. How do you pray to Mary or your intended intercessor?)
   
   How about talking to the dead? Deuteronomy 18:10-11There shall not be found among you anyone who.. “… useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer (speaks to the dead).

A living person can pray to God for others, but any communication with the dead is strictly and absolutely forbidden by Father God. This is called NECROMANCY, or the beginning of it. Paul is dead. Peter is dead. Mary is dead; her remains and those of Joseph were discovered in their grave in Jerusalem. The Romans captured the good name of MARY for SAMIRABIS.

Only ONE came back from the dead. His name is Jesus.

What is the mechanism and purpose of SEANCES?

Demons lyingly pretend and act out a theater, impersonating the dead. God placed a separation between the dead and the living. In a seance the spirits of the dead will not be there, but there will be demons lyingly assuming their identity.
Does praying to a dead Peter really mean praying to a demon? Why do you suppose God forbade those things?

What does God say about bowing down before statues or paintings?

What did God say? "Make no image of ANYTHING which is in heaven, on Earth or under the water".
Why?

"SO YOU DO NOT BOW DOWN YOURSELF UNTO THEM, NOR SERVE THEM"

This is the Second of the Ten Commandments. Maybe some should read the Bible some time, instead of trusting their priests.

If still in doubt, compare Exodus 20: 3-73, Levit. 26: 1, Deut. 27: 15, Ezek. 16: 17-18.

Corinthians 10:14
14. Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

Some will say that the above is, perhaps, not very important to them. If so, then your salvation is not important to you? Or what God says is not important to you?

Examine the Babylonian religion (it is a duplicate of the religion of the giants, before the flood), examine the Egyptian religion, Assyrian, Greek, Roman - all have their pantheons of Demons to be worshipped. The appearance of these demons changes, the names change, but the identity, the purpose and deception of the lying demons behind it, remains.

By contrast, Our Creator God is a jealous God. There is no pantheon of saints or angels. Worship only Father God. Pray only to Father God, in Jesus name. Worship is obedience which will become, in time, a flowing love.

Satan can generate tremendous emotions, a type of counterfeit love for his idols, as well as input evil thoughts in the hearts of men. Beware.

Men are not lost because they are sinners; they are lost because they have rejected the Jesus of the Bible, who died for them. Even if you go into a lost eternity and have not accepted Christ, He died for you, and you simply made His sacrifice for you of no avail. You have trodden underfoot the blood of your Savior.

Many religions and sects have BEEN PREACHING A PHANTOM, A DIFFERENT CHRIST, NOT THE CHRIST OF THE BIBLE. Their religion provides no salvation, it is a wrong way, without exit, leading into perdition. Satan’s biggest department is the department of religions.
