GOD IN THE STORM
by Lewis E. Thomas GOD IN THE STORM
The Apostle Paul met with total "CHAOS" on his journey to appeal unto Caesar in "ROME"!
God was with Paul though, and Paul was never "ALONE"!
God used a 14 day Storm that ensued on their journey to save a "HARVEST OF SOULS"!
The Soldiers and others on the ship fasted and prayed amidst the rain and the "COLD"!
As the "STORM" took control of their ship Paul assured them that "NOT ONE" would be lost!
God would use the "STORM" to lead them all to that "OLD RUGGED CROSS"!
The ship went aground near Melita Island and it was broken in half by the violence of the waves!
Two hundred and seventy six souls made it to shore and all "WERE SAVED"!
The inhabitants of the Island received Paul and the others with great kindness and care!
The island inhabitants showered them with compassion beyond compare!
As they all sat around a "FIRE" a Viper Snake lept out of the flames biting the hand of Paul!
And the Islanders all thought Paul would fall down dead quickly before them all!
The Islanders were bewildered and amazed and thought this to be very odd!
Paul remained "ALIVE" and unharmed and the Islanders called him a "GOD"
The Island Leader was called Publius and his father was sick and very ill with a "FEVER"!
Paul laid his hands on the sick man and healed him and Publius became a born again believer!
Many more sick Islanders came forth to be healed at the hands of Paul!
God moved mightily as Paul prayed and God healed them all!
So you see God can and will use a "STORM" and the "CHAOS" therein!
To "SAVE LOST SOULS" and to set them free from the "BONDAGE OF SIN"!
Be faithful through the "TRIALS OF LIFE", and come forth as a "VESSEL OF GOLD!
"AFTER" you endure those painful "WAVES" that crash over your heart and your soul!
