PRETTY GOOD AIN'T "GOOD" ENOUGH!
by Lewis E. Thomas PRETTY GOOD AINT "GOOD" ENOUGH! Someone spoke to me of a conversation they had with another about a lost soul!
This person had a relative that was very, very, "OLD"!
They asked: Have you talked to your old relative about God to "FIND OUT" if he has been saved from sin?
The person replied: No, but he is a pretty good man so "I'M SURE" God will take him right in!
Sadly to say this is the position of most of the "WORLD" today!
But concerning this subject God has a lot to say!
If this "ASSUMPTION" were "TRUE" there would have been no reason for Jesus to have suffered and died on "THE CROSS"!
There would have been "NO NEED" for a savior if our "GOOD WORKS" alone could save us from being eternally lost!
Jesus told Nicodemus, "Except a man be "BORN AGAIN" he cannot see the Kingdom of God!
So, being a pretty good person won't get you into Heaven, though you may think that "ODD"!
Many, many folks out there in the world have their "OWN IDEAS" about Heaven and Hell today!
Our "OWN IDEAS" and personal opinions about it "DON'T MATTER", what matters is what does "GOD'S WORD" have to say?
Multitudes are marching down a dangerous
"I DONT NEED GOD" path to Hell below!
If you don't study the scriptures of the Holy Bible there is no way you will "EVER KNOW"!
"NO ONE" can get into Heaven without being "BORN AGAIN"!
Those who "DON'T KNOW JESUS" as their Saviour will die in their "SINS"!
How about you today if I should be so "BOLD"!
Do you believe that you can ignore the Cross of Christ and self-redeem your own soul?
Multitudes continue trying to do "END RUNS" around that "OLD RUGGED CROSS"!
And all of them will be cast into that "GREAT LAKE of FIRE" down below, in the "REALM OF THE LOST"!
Pretty good ain't good enough...
