THE BRIDE OF CHRIST
by Lewis E. Thomas THE BRIDE OF CHRIST She climbed to the highest point in her tower "every day" to watch and scan the land!
She was looking for her "KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR" and not for just "any" man!
She knew her Savior was out there somewhere "longing for her" because her heart could tell!
They both knew that when they joined each other "ALL" would be well!
The two had never met, yet their hearts had become as "ONE"!
The woman watched from her tower each day until the setting of the sun!
This went on for days, months, and many, many years!
She watched and prayed without ceasing, and God was moved deeply by her tears!
Her KNIGHT was delayed by the many battles he had fought for his beloved!
He is as "FIERCE AS A LION" in battle and yet as gentle as a "DOVE"!
One morning she looked to the east seeing a "WHITE HORSE" rider, and it gripped her heart and soul!
It was her "KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR" and he looked like a "MIGHTY WARRIOR" made of GOLD"!
His armor was glittering and sparkling like mirrored glass illuminated by the early SUN!
He saw her high up in her tower and he kicked his "WHITE STALLION" to nudge him into a gallop and "FULL RUN"!
She rushed down from her tower and ran to meet this "GREAT KING" that she loved!
And God joined her and Jesus for their Great Wedding in HEAVEN up above!
