You Are Dancing Now!
by Tonja Taylor

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;--I Corinthians 1:27, KJV

I was delighted to discover, by a teaching on worship dance by a well-known, Spirit-filled, Word-based, anointed dance teacher, that even the smallest movement--from housework to formal dance, can drive out the enemy and bring glory to God!

According to the teaching I received (and believe), we dance all the time. The things we do and say, and our movements and other body language have more depth and meaning than most of us have realized.

One movement, the waving of our hands, can be the "perfume of fire," that can actually cause deliverance and drive out the enemy! (The devil hates it when we praise the LORD Jesus in any fashion, because he is so jealous of our King, the true God!)

Our loving Father God will use everything and anything He can--even the smallest movement of our hands--to help us be victorious over the enemy and have a wonderful, heavenly life ("Zoe," which Jesus says He came to give us in John 10:10). Hallelujah!

Although we may wonder how a simple wave of the hands can bring glory to God and defeat the devil, I like to remember the LORD will use what people call "foolish" to do great things. He is so loving and kind and gracious, just like us parents who are thrilled and so encouraging to our little children, when they make any effort to brag on God, or love us or others, or otherwise do what they should do--in performance onstage, or in daily life.

How great and gracious is our God!

Why don't you raise your hand (that He gave you!) and wave in love at your sweet Daddy right now?  We love You, LORD!
