SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS
by Lewis E. Thomas SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS Are you showing the symptoms of a true Christian that are seen and observed by all?
Do you show the signs of someone who has been "BORN AGAIN" and "GOD CALLED"?
Do you show the symptoms of total obedience to God's commands given in His holy word?
Are you one who tells the "LOST" about Jesus when you meet others who have never heard?
Do you show the attributes of holiness at all times in every deed and word that you "SAY"?
Have others "NOTICED" that you are walking on that "STRAIGHT and NARROW WAY"?
Have people seen the "signs" or symptoms of honesty and care for others reflected in your daily deeds?
Have folks observed "IT" in the ways you have reached out to them and to others in "NEED"?
Have your relatives, friends, co-workers, and your enemies seen you reach out to them in "LOVE"?
Do they see "SYMPTOMS" or signs in you that prove you are a "TRUE" child of God serving the Great Creator up above?
Are you showing the symptoms of one who overcomes "HATE" with the power of "LOVE"?
Do you "PRAY" for the "LOST" in hopes that God will add their names to His Heavenly Book up above?
Are you showing the "SYMPTOMS", "SIGNS" of a faithful Christian that causes God and others to "SMILE ON YOU"?
Or are you showing the symptoms, signs of a "REBEL" who deliberately keeps on sinning in ways that God has "FORBIDDEN" you to do?
Do others see the "VIRTUES" in you of one who has been truly "BORN AGAIN"?
Or do they see the symptoms and signs of one who is a "SLAVE" to the "PLEASURES of SIN"?
What kind of signs or examples are you giving to your children and your friends?
Is the life you are living telling them that it's ok to live in open "REBELLION and SIN"?
