I’m not happy while waiting.
I’ve waited on action by my doctor’s office for the last few days. Actually, the wait began about 2 weeks ago. I saw my doctor and he said he’d renew my prescriptions. I wasn’t out of any of my medications but most had no refills available. I told him that I wanted to use my (Medicare provider) mail order pharmacy.
I fell through the proverbial cracks. There was no contact from the pharmacy or nurses at the doctor’s office. After phone calls to both, my waiting experience turned tense. Thankfully, I had a message on my home phone today from the pharmacy. Returning their call, I heard the news I’ve waited for. They’re mailing me my medications.
The waiting period is nearly over.
LORD, forgive me for my impatience when waiting on You for answered prayers.
“Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord (Psalm 27:14 NASB).”
