WHEN THE DEATH ANGEL COMES
by Lewis E. Thomas WHEN THE DEATH ANGEL COMES
The Death Angel has your name on his list and he also has mine!
He has an appointment with us in the future at some point in "TIME"!
Most folks go along their "MERRY WAY" never thinking about that at all!
Never "PREPARING" for that day when the old "DEATH ANGEL" will call!
Enoch and Elijah were the only two humans to escape the "DEATH ANGEL" as the Holy Bible proclaims!
God took them both up to Heaven "ALIVE" and that brought them "GREAT FAME"!
Death strikes the very young, the middle aged and the old!
When the "DEATH ANGEL" comes for you, will it be "WELL WITH YOUR SOUL"?
The "STING OF DEATH" is Sin, so says the Word of God!
Are you a servant to Jesus or a servant to Sin on that path you daily trod?
For the true Christian the "STING OF DEATH" has been forever removed by God's "GRACE"!
His "GRACE" begins at that old rugged Cross where his son Jesus died for the whole human race!
Have you been to that Old Rugged Cross of the "CRUCIFIED"?
Have you embraced the "SON OF GOD" who for "YOU" bled and died?
Have you been washed in the blood of Jesus, the "GREAT I AM"!
Have you been forgiven and "REDEEMED" by the precious "BLOOD OF THE LAMB"?
Your appointment with the "DEATH ANGEL" could come "SUDDENLY" some time "TODAY"!
If you don't know Jesus Christ as your Savior, don't you think it might be "TIME TO PRAY"?
The hands of "TIME" are moving swiftly around the clock and your appointment with the "DEATH ANGEL" could be right around the bend!
When the "DEATH ANGEL" comes for you, will he find you "REDEEMED and BORN AGAIN"?

John 3:16-18
Amplified Bible
16 “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] [a]only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 Whoever believes and has decided to trust in Him [as personal Savior and Lord] is not judged [for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation]; but the one who does not believe [and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord] is judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced], because [b]he has not believed and trusted in the name of the [One and] only begotten Son of God [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, the One who alone can save him]. ...
