PJ’s & U= A Christmas photo op.
I’m clueless as to when or why matching pajamas became a Christmas tradition. Yet, the colorful sleepwear does look pretty in pictures.
There were 5 children in our Ford family. Mom may have given us pajamas for Christmas; I have no memory of her asking us to pose in them for snapshots. I do remember a favorite blue robe. I’m not sure if it was a present from Mom and Dad or my Aunt Jessie. Our aunt always gave practical gifts.
The robe kept me warm during Central New York State frigid winters.
Jesus has given me a special robe.
There’s one made especially for you.
“I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels (Isaiah 61:10 NKJV).”
The LORD has blessed me with grace gifts of salvation and righteousness.
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV).”
Oh, what joy!
