IN THE STILL OF THE NIGHT

One of my dearest friends lost his wife early one morning because she suddenly stopped breathing!
He will never get over her death and he is at present still in a state of "GRIEVING"!
Sometimes if I awake in the wee hours of the morning, or in the still of the night...
If I hear nothing but silence, it can fill me with fright.
I listen closely for the sound of soft breathing coming from my wife!
She is my "GIFT FROM GOD" and the sunshine in my life!
Every breath she takes is a precious treasure and a joy to hear!
When I hear her soft breathing it drives away all my worry and fear!
Each breath we take and each heart beat we receive is a "GIFT" from God up above!
That fact alone should move us to daily serve Jesus, our "GREAT CREATOR UP ABOVE"!
Next time you awake in the still of the night, remember the words in this rhyme!
Listen for that soft breathing next to you and "THANK GOD" for it "EVERY TIME"!
For should their breathing "STOP SUDDENLY" during the day or the night!
Our world would come crashing down and we would need Jesus to comfort us and to hold us tight!
We are all only "ONE BREATH" and "ONE" "HEARTBEAT" away from the "GRAVE"!
Run to that Old Rugged Cross while you can to become "Born Again" and saved!
In the still of the night...
