Heart, Soul and Strength
by PamFord Davis

Merry Christmas!

What can you give to Jesus?

It’s not easy to find the perfect gift for somebody who has everything. Jesus not only has it all; He created it.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made (John 1:1-3 NKJV).”

So what can you give to the LORD?

Many go to search engines for gift suggestions. That might help when finding presents for family and friends. I suggest searching the scriptures to find the perfect gift for Jesus.

What Jesus wants most is a personal relationship with you.

You would be the perfect gift; giving Him your life proves the perfect will of God.

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Romans 12:1-2 NKJV).”

The Wise Men gave gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. (Matthew 2:11)

Christ will treasure your gifts of heart, soul and strength.

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength (Deuteronomy 6:5 NKJV).”
