DO YOU "REALLY" LOVE GOD?
by Lewis E. Thomas DO YOU "REALLY" LOVE GOD? Many claim they are Christians and say they "LOVE GOD" while their "ACTIONS" prove that to be "UNTRUE"!
Many show "NO" desire to "PLEASE" our Heavenly Father who lives beyond the "BLUE"!
The New Testament book of John says: "In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God!"
To a true Christian that makes perfect sense, but to a lost sinner it sounds weird and odd!
The Bible tells us that "THE WORD" (Jesus) became flesh and dwelled among us here on this Earth!
It tells us that Jesus had no earthly father, but was miraculously born of a "VIRGIN BIRTH"!
Jesus is the "WALKING WORD OF GOD" from that Heavenly Kingdom up above!
Yet, Jesus is someone that many professing "CHRISTIANS" do not know or really "LOVE"!
It is "IMPOSSIBLE" for one to "KNOW GOD" if one seldom opens a Bible to study the Word!
To hear this preached in a Sunday sermon is something that many have "NEVER" heard!
Many Pastors never preach on the "DAILY" need to "FEED OUR SOULS" with the Word!
If God showed us how He sees our souls today many of us Christians would look like a "WITHERED" and "STARVED" little bird!
We feed our fleshly bodies "more" than needed to bulging dimensions to say the least!
Yet we starve our souls by being too lazy to read the holy word given by Jesus Christ, our "HIGH PRIEST"!
We will spend hours upon hours watching TV, fishing, hunting, etc.doing our "OWN THING"!
Claiming to love God, while we have no desire to read the Bible, the instructions given to "THE WORLD" by "THE KING OF KINGS"!
We may have others believing that we "LOVE GOD", but God can read what's deep down in our "HEART" today!
When He sees "NO LOVE" there for His Holy Word, He knows "WE ARE NOT" walking in that "STRAIGHT AND NARROW WAY"!
Do you really love God...?
