A HEART OF STONE
by Lewis E. Thomas A HEART OF STONE The Bible speaks of a spiritual condition that can give you or me a "HEART OF STONE"!
That can happen to us when we continue to reject God and walk in a path of our "OWN"!
It begins with repetitive acts of disobedience to our Heavenly Father up above!
From that point if we are not "CAREFUL" we will walk farther and farther away from His love!
When we commit "WILLFUL SIN" our heart gets a little harder and a little harder over time!
Until we no longer even feel "GUILTY" about our Sins and our Crimes!
Is that "YOU" today, has your heart become so "HARD" that you are no longer moved by God's Holy Word?
Has your heart become like a piece of stone or "GRANITE ROCK" that cannot be "STIRRED"?
Maybe you have "A HEART OF STONE" and don't even "KNOW IT"!
There are signs you can "WATCH FOR" that will clearly "SHOW IT"!
One sign is that you have no desire to pick up a Bible, let alone to read it!
You have "NO" desire to be obedient to God's holy Word and "NO" desire to "HEED IT"!
We can allow our heart to become so "HARD" through our Rebellion and Sin!
That the "HOLY SPIRIT" at that point is unable to ever "MOVE" or touch our heart "AGAIN"!
If you have become calloused and numbed to where you can no longer be spiritually moved by God...
You have reached a deadly cliff at the edge of Hell on that rebellious path you trod!
If that's you, run to that "OLD RUGGED CROSS" today after you close this rhyme...
Ask Jesus to give you are "HEART OF FLESH" while you "STILL" have time!
