Such an intriguing dialogue;

hearing as if in a dream,

“Oh what will become of this upside down life

where nothing is what it seems?”

"No matter the cost, we will not flee;

like soldiers we will go,

for obedience to HIM is all we crave;

living on our knees;

all we know."

In great relief came the reply

such an encouraging tale,

that Christians may have bony knees,

but on bony knees,

do we prevail.

Deceptions, twists and manufactured truths,

are all we ever hear,

“Yes, life is tough,”

came the voice once more,

“But salvation tougher still, against fear!”

So we rejoice, we hear the sound;

the call of the faithful few,

knowing our knees are not alone,

they may be bony,

but that's why God gave us two.
