IF WE KNEW
by Lewis E. Thomas IF WE KNEW If we all knew that at the end of this week God's "TRUMPET" was going to "SOUND"!
If we knew that the "FAITHFUL" saints of God were going to "RISE UP" off the ground...
If we "KNEW" that only those who are truly "BORN AGAIN" would be taken up to that Kingdom with no Sin...
If we knew that millions we're about to disappear from this earth as though they had never "BEEN"...
If we knew that we had been neglecting the GREAT CREATOR up above...
That we had been putting the things of this world ahead of His "AWESOME LOVE"...
If we knew that we were still clinging to "UNFORGIVENESS" and holding a grudge...
If we knew we would "SOON" be standing before the GREATEST and "HIGHEST JUDGE"!
If we knew that it had been many moons since we had bowed our knees in prayer...
If we knew that the times we had opened a Bible and "READ IT" were very, very "RARE"...
If we knew that Jesus was returning soon, would we change the way that we behave...
If we were "LOST" would we begin to run to and fro "FRANTICALLY" trying to "FIND" a way to be saved...
How would we respond to that news and how would we "PREPARE FOR IT" my friend...
When that "LAST TRUMPET SOUNDS" will we be washed in the "BLOOD OF JESUS", saved and "BORN AGAIN"...
If we all knew that the "END OF THE AGE" was "CLOSE AT HAND"...
Would we be "STANDING on that ROCK" called Jesus Christ, "THE SON OF MAN"...
If we knew that at the end of the week many of our "SAVED LOVED ONES" would rise up to meet the Lord and leave us far "BEHIND"...
I WONDER...Would we "RUN" to Jesus so that the condition of our soul might be "WELL"?
Or would we just defiantly "KEEP" on marching down that "ONE WAY ROAD TO HELL"?
If we knew...
