GOD IN THE CORN FIELD

One day an old farmer knelt down humbly in the middle of his plowed field.
He began to pray and to ask the Lord for a big harvest and a high yield!
As he prayed a young boy walked up silently behind him and was listening to him pray!
These are the words that the little boy heard that old farmer say:
Dear Lord, I need you again this year to bless my corn seeds so that they will produce a "HIGH YIELD"!
Without your blessings on my efforts I'm just wasting my time out here in this field!
Lord, things are hard now because every thing that was precious to me is forever gone!
That Tornado that hit us last year killed my wife and my children and left me all "ALONE".
Lord, I wish you had taken me that day "with" my family, to meet you on High!
Because all I do now is plow and plant corn seeds in this old field and "CRY"!
As the old farmer began to thank God for his "AMAZING GRACE"!
The little boy was listening closely and tears began to run down his sweet face!
Thank you Lord for the time you gave me with my wife and children, those times were really "GRAND"!
Thank you Lord for your grace that lifts me up in my spirit every morning and helps me to "STAND"!
Lord, please send me someone who can put some joy back into my "BROKEN HEART"!
Send me an heir that I can leave this old farm to one day, when I depart!
The young lad listening dropped down on his knees and began to pray!
"Lord, please let me live with this farmer, I ran away from the orphanage, and I won't go back, no how, no way!
God answered two prayers that day as He brought two lonely lives together!
"GREAT IS THE LORD" for his MIGHTY POWER and WONDERS CANNOT BE MEASURED"!
God in the corn field...
