Hopefully you’re a man (or woman) hard at work…

Start digging; you’ll discover treasures in God’s word.

 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV).

Don’t lean on that shovel or what you think you know.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV).”

We shouldn’t shirk our work and duty; God has rewards for the faithful.

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ (Colossians 3:23-24 KJV).”
