My soul is longing for You, Lord!
To know You; be like you, and see
Your beauty, Your goodness, and love;
And Your faithful working in me.

Give me a greater longing, Lord;
Greater hunger and thirst for You!
Cleanse away all that You desire,
And make me Your reflection, true.

You said those who hunger and thirst
For righteousness- they shall be filled.
Don’t let my soul be distracted,
Or seeking for glitter and guild!

I’m fixing my eyes on You, Lord;
With great longing, seeking Your face.
Fill me with more of You, Jesus,
And help me walk true, by Your grace.

I’m asking You to fill me, Lord;
To walk, talk, and live through me.
Please show me more of You, Father,
And work now in me, Your beauty.
