How many times have we, as parents, pastors, and/or educators and perhaps other leaders, told a young one to do (or not do) something, and, when they quetsioned our instruction, answered, "...because I love you"--right? 

I know I have. 

When we say that, our motivations may not be totally pure.

However, when God our Father (once we have received Christ Jesus, His Son, as our Savior and LORD, that is!) says it, He means it--purely and totally and forever!

12 But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name— 13 Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]--John 1:12-13, AMPC

God, Who is the Creator and Sustainer of all living things, loves us--without fail, and steadfastly, regardless of our behavior. Praise Him. What an awesome and merciful, faithful God we serve! 

He is Father first, once we have believed in and received His Son, Jesus, the LORD and soon-coming King!

¹² Behold, I am coming soon, and I shall bring My wages and rewards with Me, to repay and render to each one just what his own actions and his own work merit.--Revelation 22:12, AMPC

From Isaiah 43:1-4, AMPC: 

43 But now [in spite of past judgments for Israel’s sins], thus says the Lord, He Who created you, O Jacob, and He Who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you [ransomed you by paying a price instead of leaving you captives]; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.

2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.

3 For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt [to the Babylonians] for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba [a province of Ethiopia] in exchange [for your release].

4 Because you are precious in My sight and honored, and because I love you, I will give men in return for you and peoples in exchange for your life--Nehemiah 13:2, AMPC.

God is so faithful! 

We may not understanding everything about the wording in the Bible, but we do know this: God paid the ultimate Price through sending His only Son, the LORD Jesus Christ, to die for us on the cross over 2,000 years ago to free us from the penalty of our sins! Hallelujah! 

He did this because He loves us; because He did not want to spend Eternity without us, nor us without Him!

The Lord God, Elohim, created us to be His children, to have perfect fellowship with Him. 

The first humans betrayed God and instead of forsaking them, God sent His Son Jesus to restore mankind back to Him. Hallelujah!

⁵ Nevertheless, the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam, but the Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing to you, because the Lord your God loves you.--Deut. 23:5

Now, we have to make a choice. We must choose God--or eternal separation from Him. 

There are only two choices! Save your life, and choose to believe in Christ Jesus today!

He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned.--Mark 16:16, AMPC

God through Jesus Christ is Life; Love; Peace; Joy; Abundance; Freedom; Victory; Satisfaction, and much more! 

¹⁰ The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).--John 10:10, AMPC

There are only two choices, so choose life. Choose Jesus Christ, and you'll never regret it! 

22 Namely, the righteousness of God which comes by believing with personal trust and confident reliance on Jesus Christ (the Messiah). [And it is meant] for all who believe. For there is no distinction.  23 Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory which God bestows and receives.--Romans 3:22-23, AMPC

¹³ For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking Him as Lord] will be saved.--Romans 10:13, AMPC
