ROCK A BYE CHRISTIAN
by linzy bruno
Rock a bye baby, all the day through; rocking away in her chair, was all mom had to do.
But no longer a wee babe, I confront rest, like a knife and wrestle with favor: to crush struggles impeding life.
Still battling with eyes open; I toss in my bed; rest always eludes me, when sabotage, I do dread.
Then I turn and seek God. He stretches out His Long Arm; He pulls me in closer and wins me over with Charm.
My concern? It evaporates, like dew from the grass, and He holds me and rocks me, and I fall asleep fast!
Rock a bye Christian, all the night long; submitting to Him, turns around everything that’s wrong.
Rock a bye Christian, these words say it all; taking comfort in His Care, with great thanks, as I fall…… Linzy is a certified Bible Counsellor, with countless republications on her viewers blogs, Bible Studies, Ezines and the like.
